Bahamas Hurricane Relief

| September 4, 2019 | 0 Comments
As we all know, Hurricane Dorian took direct aim at the Bahamas as a category 5 storm and then stalled out over the islands, serving up brutal wind and rain, as well as catastrophic flooding for three punishing days. Locally, the Langdale family has connections to the islands and have friends and neighbors that have been impacted. They, along with others, sprang into action before the storm had even left the Bahamas, after getting first-hand reports of the destruction left behind. Lives lost, homes and business destroyed, power grids devastated, communication disrupted…and rescue crews have only begun their searches. The Bahamas Relief effort will be regular and ongoing over the next weeks. Need is desperate, as the people are without food, clothing, shelter and, in some cases, even water.
